1) Watch a scene from ‘The Simpsons'. Pay attention to the kind of houses that are described in the video. 2) Choose the best house from the video for these people: a) A couple with two children. b) A single girl. c) An old man who lives with a cat. 3) Justify your choices. E.g. The first house is the best for a) because it is bigger than the others… Comment: The aim of this activity is to motivate students to use the structures and vocabulary previously studied in a real- life context as well as to promote the use of their thinking skill for making choices.

  1. I loved your plan!! I'm a fan of The Simpsons family and try to include something about them as often as possible! Once I worked with the episode where Lisa needs brackets and Homer is about to lose his dental plan. The project was about communities and how much better results we get when we work and fight for our interests together.
